Long before the term Bar-B-Q was the TV sensation it is today, Dennis Edwards was perfecting his southern style baby back rib, chicken, beef and pork shoulder recipes and skills. Hanging around his dad’s Bar-B-Q shack, he learned the art of Bar-B-Q at the age of 12 from one of Memphis’ oldest Pit Masters. Entering his first Bar-B-Q competition 6 years later, Chef/Pit Master Dennis still competes in regional competitions and is bringing his award winning, southern style Bar-B-Q here to the Gold Country.
